Said "I Do" on August 7th 2021

It was a gorgeous, "blue sky day", when Katie and Joe stood atop one of the highest hills in Lompoc on the Valla Family Ranch and said "I Do" before all of their closest family and friends.  Katie looked every bit like a princess bride who just stepped out of the pages of a magazine, and Joe was the perfect handsome cowboy.  But the story didn't start there...  The spot where Joe and Katie said their vows is actually the same spot where Joe took Katie one evening to "check the cows" and brought along a picnic lunch, and something else.  When she wasn't expecting it, he proposed, and she said yes.  This incredibly meaningful gesture and location was the inspiration for Katie and Joe's amazing DIY Bohemian Country Chic Wedding, which was absolutely beautiful.  Guests sat on bales of straw facing a simple arbor that was made at the ranch.  There was a beautiful cowhide that Katie and Joe stood upon, and to forever link themselves together in the cowboy tradition, they branded the hide during their ceremony with their own brand and initials.
